HKU Faculty of Architecture releases research findings on WWII Defence Structures in Hong Kong

Folks,

It is in the news and looks like the researchers in HKU had been busy.  Their Faculty of Architecture releases research findings on WWII Defence Structures in Hong Kong yesterday.

I don't believe they have put up everything yet, but during their press conference they have had a very short 3D animation of part of the Gin Drinker Line with varous pillboxes and Observation points marked on the ridges.  A Map of possible locations of Pillboxes, OPs and Search Light locations is also presented.  The three pillboxes in Wong Nei Chung Gap were also covered.

Thanks T, that's a very interesting project. The press release says they'll share more information in future, so let's keep an eye out for that.
