I'm the founder and head janitor of this website. I started it in 2009, though its roots go back to 2002. Here's a brief history of the Gwulo website.

I especially enjoy old photos of Hong Kong - restoring them, enlarging them to see their details, and telling their stories. In 2017 I published a collection of some of my favourite photos and stories as a book: Old Hong Kong Photos and The Tales They Tell. I've since published a further two collections, Volume 2 and Volume 3.

Originally from Wales, I first visited Hong Kong in 1989, then moved here to live in 1992. I've lived here since then.
