Broadway's Neighbour 百老匯 (MK) Clothing Store

This clothing store was located between the two entrances to Broadway Theatre (Mong Kok).  It was a good place to browse around when you show up too early for your movie.  The entrance on the left was for front row seatings,  and a theatre staff sold tickets from a small cubicle.

Oriental 東方 Interior Art Room (1951)

Date picture taken (to nearest decade for older photos):

Gary Cooper is always my favourite actor, love his cowboys movies.  The movie Dallas was produced by Warners Brothers and released on December 30, 1950, so this photo was taken likely in 1951.

This work place has a very simple dress code, convenient for this young artist.

Oriental 東方 Exterior Roof Top

A walk to the rooftop in the 1950s gave us a view of the neighbourhood around us as all other buildings were of similar height.  Stanley Chung posted this photo of his father and his Chinese note reads like this (excluding what I added in brackets): "My father Mr.

Globe Theatre (Wan Chai) 環球 had its front entrance on Lockhart Road.  One of its exits was a narrow lane leading to Jaffe Road shown on the left of this photo.  The theatre's Chinese name is partially visible on the upper left of the photo.  Source: Discuss.com.hk

Oriental 東方1930-40s.jpg

Oriental Theatre 東方  on Fleming Road, Hong Kong.  This street scene was taken sometime in the 1930s or 40s.  The lack of cars in commercal and crowded neighbourhoods can be seen also in other photos from this period.  For this theatre,  the two main roads at the two ends were part of the reason.  People walked leisurely without haste and concern about car traffic.  Photo source: Discuss.com.hk.
