Seating capacity: unknown.  Address: Castle Peak Road (Tsuen Wan), Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.  Other information from the sources include the "intersection of Castle Peak Road and Chung On Road", and "now Town Square Carpark".  After a Google street walk, I estimated it to be the southeast corner of the intersection.

Tsuen Wan Theatre operated from December 3, 1950 until some time in the early 1970s.  For the purpose of this page, the closing date is estimated to be in 1972.

I know that the TW Theatre was still running late 1972 as I used to go from my parents Ting Kau house via PLB from 71 to 73 frequently as an 11 year old boy to watch movies like spaghetti westerns including Duck, You Sucker, a few badly dubbed Jean Paul Belmondo movies and a range of others including Kung Fu and more x rated like Big Doll House with the wonderful Pam Grier. It was a no frills theatre but was nice and cool and had a balcony. My guess from memory it held around 300. It was on the Tai Mo Shan side of Castle Peak Road and you could cross to the market square and buy loads of fun things with an exceptionally clean and beautifully presented Chinese Products Departmen Store close by. Tsuen Wan was quite industrial then and it was an exciting vibrant place there was so much to see and experience. I felt more comfortable with local Chinese/Hong Kongers than the expat community. It was a very safe and happy time. I would left there in summer 1973.
