The street numbers (and sometimes the street name) changed multiple times in Hong Kong as the city grew. Below are the road number changes for Robinson Road

On Robinson Road the northern, downhill side of the street were even numbers while the Southern side were odd. This is the opposite to the numbering on Caine Road.

When the Murray Battery site was used for the public works department new buildings, boundary stones marked B.O. were found. It was suggested that they stood for Board of Ordnance. The street lamps outside seven and six Penny Hill were also marked B.O. this appears to be the mark for all military property. "Like the V.R. of those days (now "G.R.")"

The 1924 map and the HK Gov Map app together do a great job of identifying lot numbers pin pointing various places. 

Is  it possible to add a lot number attribute

I'm looking for photos or other material taken in the Ping Shan of the New Territories before 1980. My family had an ancestral memorial (graves) there, within walking distance of Old Ping Shan police station. It was exhumed owing to the development of Hong Kong in the late 80's or so.

The location of the original site has been lost. I would like to collect more images and information of the surrounding area at the time, for the benefit of future generations.
