Hong Kong Heritage radio programs
Hong Kong Heritage is a RTHK radio program hosted by Annemarie Evans, which digs up many aspects of our heritage in history of HK. It started broadcast in early 1998, program length about 15-mins and evolved to existing format.
Recently, it is a pity to realize it has stopped production somehow. The last program with new VO (voice-over) or in-person recording was broadcast on July 26 & 27 2025. (+)
After this date, the program is now broadcast in some repeating mode, with the past episodes. That is, at any one time year round, more than 52 old programs are online.
To add to the list above, you may also find these :
To get to the exact recording, you may diligently press the [More ...] button at the bottom of page, until that date is included. There appears no easy way to give the web links directly.
Meanwhile, MMIS has also hosted some of the early recordings, from Sept. 1998 to 2009, with gaps. (total over 450 recordings)

HK Heritage
What a shame. I had also done a couple of the shows a few years back and can no longer find them online. The Internet Archive has what looks to be several thousand of the podcasts archived, but only by URL and not any useful form of description.
there are some ways ...
I found that only the public facing webpage is revamped. There are still some ways to listen to them again.
e.g. conservationist Lew Young, aired on 2019-4-6 (link)
In my manual trials, this convention works ok, from current backward to 2014 ones. So if only you know the approx. dates of your episodes of interest ! . . .
Just let me know if I may help on.
But textual description may be quite hard to recover, even if it ever exists.

I've tried working back using that convention. I did a show on the Jumbo restaurant in film that was broadcast in July 2022 I think (could've been August though). All I get is access denied messages though when I type in different dates (in YYYYMMDD.mp3 format).
I understand that James Marsh's film review show has lost ten years worth of archives as a result of this change. How short-sighted of RTHK to do this.
try this one
hi philk,
I think you mean this episode. Just repeated on Apr 4 & 5.
It clicks, when I change to '.m4a' -- so far only two kinds of audio formats come across on the site. Probably, this way would work for other recordings of said period above.
For some Chinese programs, similar act and loss was aware by audience worldwide earlier, mid 2025. e.g. one case with thousands of clips dropped.
Hope this may throw some light, a way from here or somewhere.
best regards
Amazing!
Wow, hkspace_wl, I don't know how to thank you, that is amazing. I can now download it and send it somewhere a bit more easily accessible. Many many thanks.
