Temporary servicemen's pier at Harcourt Road in front of Caine House. This was probably used when Fenwick Pier was damaged by typhoon Ruby (September 1964).

Wikipedia reports:

• 1964: The Pier had to be rebuilt after typhoons Wanda and Ruby dealt severe blows to the building.
• 1965: The rebuilt Pier opened in June.

Possibly this temporary pier was in service for less than a year, maybe longer.

Ferries to Jordan Road sailed from this pier.

It isn't shown on the 1952 map, but it is shown on the 1957 map.

The first Fenwick Pier was built in 1929 during the East Praya Reclamation. In the Public Works Report for 1929 is the following entry:

Public Pier ‘A’.—This pier is situated at the end of Fenwick Street. The decking, landing steps and fendering -were constructed during the year, thus completing the pier.

In the 1930 Report the pier is specified in more detail:

Ngau Tau Kok Ferry Pier (Chinese: 牛頭角碼頭) (1953 - 1960s) was a ferry pier in Ngau Tau Kok in Kwun Tong District, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Its location is now near Wharf T&T Square (Chinese: 九倉電訊廣場), Wai Yip Street (Chinese: 偉業街).

The pier was built after reclamation in this area was completed, about 1961.

The new pier started its operation on 30 August 2014.(see Star Ferry anouncement).

After the early 1900's dockyard reclamation a new Murray Pier was opened a few hundred feet to the west. The original Pier became part of the VRC.

In January 1919, the Kau Lung Sze Yeuk Kai Fong Ferry Company Limited, the first licenced ferry company, started to operate three ferry routes,
Central Market (Jubilee Street) and Yaumati (Public Square Street),.....

Update 2021-02-16:

Location is approximate, but should be in the neighbourhood of Shan Tung Street.  Ceased to operate in late April 1972.

Location is approximate.  Pier ceased to operate at around June 1992.
