 I have a question or two about life in Hong Kong at the turn of the 20th century.  If I were a wealthy Chinese businessperson living on HK Island, where would I live?  At Midlevel?
  Do you have any pictures or details of how a typical Chinese family would live if they had a great deal of money?  What kind of home would it be?  What would the interior look like?  What sort of things would set them apart from others or the colonials?  What would be considered luxury and available?  What did wealthy Chinese families do?

It was written "Native boat and shipping in Habour of Hong Kong.", but where? There was a bridge in the highlighted area.

I found some video footage of Princess Margaret's visit to Hong Kong in March, 1966.  Includes views of Central, the Hilton, Hong Kong Shanghai Bank building (with extended view of the lions).

Does anyone know how I can find info about a company during the Japanese occupation of HK? The company is 東榮公司, and I believe it is probably an import/export/trading company.So far, all I can come up with is this "还有东荣公司总经理何品阶、何崇阶兄弟最受“港督”矶谷的赏识，他俩是在日本土生，真正的日本通，经营进出口" from this site:

This albumen print is from an album which was taken about 1868 ~ 1874. There is an inscription "College Gardens" on the print. Could someone advise where it was?

What is the name of the house common to both photos ?  And what were the names of the other distinctive houses ?
