There are several I haven't seen before.
I was recently reminded of my days flying light aircraft in Hong Kong. I learned to fly here and was probably one of the last students to do circuits at Kai Tak. That was certainly because I was flying with our Chief Flying Instructor at the time and it was a relatively quiet Easter Saturday morning at Kai Tak in 1993.
This is a link to an unpublished website I started as a graphic design student, in 2015 after the theft of some paintings by friend the artist Donald Nield who died in 1984. I never changed the name of the site but over time it became the repository for my research for the biography of Nield, who I met in New York in 1969. He was born in Shanghai in 1924. His mother, Annie Urquhart half Scot half Chinese was born in Kiukiang to Donald Urquhart an employee of the Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs Service, originally ftom Scotland and Leh Ken Hsueh a native of Kiukiang.

Went on a hike through Nga Chou Hang Squatter Village to a nearby hill with a friend yesterday. There were people doing "hill cleaning". One of the garbage bags accidentally tripped me over and we heard glass bottle clinking sound. That was the moment we realized those people were dumping all of the old bottles in the nearby area. My friend got triggered immediately and I asked for the permission to search through the unsealed bags.

Of interest to aviation fans, there is a brief snippet of the landing sequence from the 1955 film The Night my Number Came Up on Youtube. The clip shows some rather barren Kowloon hills on the approach to runway 13.
