Royden House and Sear Rogers International School
I worked at these schools prior to closure of Sear Rogers. Anyone out there - staff or students?
Sorry, we don't have any photos with this tag yet.

I have just been sent this link to a very interesting site which contains some great photos of Hong Kong on the 1940's and 50's. Well worth a look.
The local chapter of the American Institute of Architects write:
Members of the Hong Kong Chapter of the American Institute of Architects are actively engaged in the preservation and/or adaptive reuse of important heritage buildings in Hong Kong and elsewhere in the region. The Chapter also organizes and hosts events related to the conservation of such buildings, neighbourhoods and urban spaces. Please visit their website (http://www.aiahk.org/) to access links to a number of related Hong Kong heritage and protection topics.
Free iPad app that gives lots of information and lovely photos on both the British and Japanese side of the battle.

Hi there,
This is a question about possession point.I want to ask, does anyone know what do the number refer to on the pottinger's map 1842 ?
When I try to locate where possession point was on the map, there is some possible locations like numer 14 and 44 on the map, but I think this will be better to check out the real legend.
I've had another look at the Hong Kong Ladies Directories published in the South China Directory for 1904-1906, which are the only numbers accessible to me in London. In case it helps with matching information given in other lists, here are the only names and numbers given for Caine Road. I’m sure it's common knowledge that there's a separate Peak Directory and a list of Foreign Residents – also an alphabetical record of companies and their staff in the South China Directory.
Good evening David
Could any one help pin point the position of"Palm Villa" refered to in "Not The Slightest Chance"
Thanks again

From plow to din of modern day
Tsuen Wan today is a bustling district north of western Kowloon. It was Hong Kong's first satellite town, which is why it is simultaneously in both the New Territories and the urban area.
Originally, however, Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung were Hakka farming areas.
With help from the Hong Kong Jockey Club, heritage group Hulu Culture has organized a series of activities highlighting the history of the area.
