DoB from John Black's list, which gives Mr Brown's occupation in 1941 as "Engineer".

He's mentioned in the 1941 Juror's List:

c   Brown, Frank Leader (Capt.) Engineer, H.K. Electric Co., Ld. 17 Bowen Road.

Stanley L. HIDDEN [1887-1947]

Mr & Mrs SL Hidden are named top of the list of friends attending the June 1923 funeral of my grandfather, Charles Warren, but neither I nor my generation of Warrens ever heard them mentioned. As "Hidden" is a word as well as a name, it's not easy to search for Mr Hidden. He appears in the Jurors List of 1923 as Assistant in John Manners & Co. The Hiddens lived in Broadwood Road in 1920 when Mr Hidden was working for H. Stephens & Co.

Henry Stuart MARTIN (aka Sonny) [1908-1964]

Submitted by Sally Laycock on Thu, 11/19/2015 - 14:59

His parent's graves are in the British Cemetery in Hong Kong, his father Thomas Henry Martin being the Superintendent of the GPO in Hong Kong at the time of my father's birth (1908).

I have just started the journey of tracking my father's side of the family, so any data you may have would be helpful.

Thank you.

William Kearley REYNOLDS [1889-1943]

Submitted by jill on Thu, 11/19/2015 - 08:25

William Kearley Reynolds is mentioned in the list of mourners at the funeral of my grandfather Charles Warren, immediately after his next of kin. The Jurors Lists of 1922-1924 give him as Secretary to C.E. Warren & Co. Ltd. His name eluded my cousin Brian Lewis when he was researching the history of the company. None of my family has ever mentioned it. Reynolds seems to have taken an administrative role in the company immediately after John Olson jnr left it.

Frederick Hopper WALLACE [1848-1926]

A correction to my previous statement. (see Joanna, granddaughter of George Frederick Hutton Potts). Frederick Hopper Wallace was my GREAT GRANDFATHER. He was father to Esme (aka Dolly) Stuart Wallace, wife of George Frederick. I have the family bible which is encribed "To Esme on her wedding day" from her mother-in-law (Jemima Cameron nee Cumming, married to Lipton Hutton Potts). Also, please note that the surname "Hutton Potts" is correctly spelled WITHOUT a hyphen.
