DoB from John Black's list, which gives Mr Alderton's occupation in 1941 as "Doctor".

He is listed on page J102 of the 1939 Blue Book as working in the government's Wireless and Broadcasting Department as a Wireless Engineer. He started work there on 2nd Dec 1938.

One of the technicians sent out of Camp on August 10, 1945 was Paul Reveley, who had once been personal technical assistant to John Logie Beard:

I didn't find named Braithwaite in the 1939 Blue Book, or any relevant natches in the newspapers at MMIS.

His death was reported:

On 12th February, 1965, at Uckfield Hospital, Francis Henry ("Towkay") King, aged 55 years, late of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation.
