Everything tagged: WW2: Interned at Stanley Camp

Born in Baghdad. Wife of Isaac Silas Hardoon. The family comprising Charles Isaac (b. 1914), Abraham Isaac (b. 1922), Diane Isaac (b. 1924), Sophie (b.1926), John (b.1928), Jackie (b.1930) and Matilda (b.1935) were all interned at Stanley Camp.

They were repatriated to Bombay (Mumbai), British India after the end of the Pacific War.

Guiomar Maria L. Remedios married Joseph W Drewery at the Registry on 28 December 1935. After the fall of Hong Kong she was interned at Stanley Camp with her two children, Marcus (born in 1929) and Irene (born in 1933).
