Mary Cecily Barber (nee Bedford) was a teacher at Diocesan Girl's School. The Directory & Chronicle for 1940 here shows her name as Miss M. C. Bedford as staff of DGS.

DGS records give her name as Barber (Bedford) Molly and work record as 1924-1941 and 1947-1948. During the Battle of Hong Kong, she worked as a kitchen supervisor at La Salle Relief Hospital.

Jeanne MOQUIN (aka Sister St. Jean de l’Eucharistie) [????-????]

Sister St. Jean de l’Eucharistie was a nun and teacher who belonged to the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception. During the Battle of Hong Kong, she worked at La Salle Relief Hospital. She was later interned at Stanley Camp. Sister St. Jean de l’Eucharistie was released with four other Sisters in December 1942 and arrived in Canton on 18 December.

Henry William MILLS [c.1893-1967]

Henry William Mills appears in the 1941 Jurors List as an assistant with the Standard-Vacuum Oil Co. Ltd at Lai Chi Kok. 

He was married to Thelma Mills. Both were interned at Stanley Camp.

Henry Mills died on 30 May 1967 in Victoria, B. C., Canada
