Claire Rita Furey was better know as Sister Mary Christella. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and was assigned to Hong Kong in 1936.
During the fall of Hong Kong, she was stationed at Maryknoll Convent School in Kowloon Tong. On 8 February 1942, a group of eighteen Sisters of the school, including Sister Mary Christella were interned at Stanley Camp. She worked as secretary in the diet kitchen.
Philomena Quinn was better known as Sister Mary Clement. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and in 1925 was assigned to South China and eventually to Hong Kong.
Anne Clements was better known as Sister Mary Famula. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and was assigned to Manchuria in 1931. She was later posted to Hong Kong in 1937 and taught at Maryknoll Convent School.
Sister Louise Farrell was better known as Sister Ann Mary. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and later became the Principal at Maryknoll Convent School. In 1928, her assignment to Hong Kong began her career in education. She developed a passion for integrating teaching and Christian thinking.
Frances Clare Murphy was better known as Sister Maria Regis. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and became the Superior at Holy Spirit School.
In 1936, Sister Maria Regis was assigned to Kaying, Kwangtung (Meizhou/Meixian, Guangdong). She worked there until 1941 when she was reassigned teaching duties in Hong Kong.
Grace Anselma McKenna was better known as Sister Mary Paul. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and became the Regional Superior. In September 1921, she led the first group of Maryknoll Sisters to South China. In Hong Kong she established two schools, one for Chinese girls on Hong Kong Island and the other at Kowloon for girls of all nationalities.
Marion F. Skehan was better known as Sister Rose Olive. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and was assigned to Hong Kong around 1934.
After the fall of Hong Kong, she was residing at Maryknoll Convent School. On 8 February 1942, eighteen Sisters of the school including Sister Rose Olive were interned at Stanley Camp.
She was released from camp in June 1942 and repatriated to the United States.

Born Ebe Anita Rizzardi. She later changed her name to Sister Mary Gonzaga Rizzardi (as noted on the Gripsholm passenger manifest). Sister Mary Gonzaga served the Maryknoll Sisters and was assigned to South China in 1930.
