Jack Aitchison THOMAS [1903-????]

Jack Aitchison Thomas appears in the 1941 Jurors List as a police guard (watchman) employed by Hong Kong & Kowloon Wharf and Godown Co., Ltd.

He was interned at Stanley Camp and later repatriated to the United States in 1942.

William Henry TAYLOR [1906-1965]

William Henry Taylor was employed as a principal economist in the Division of Monetary Research of the Treasury Department in Washington D.C.. He had been appointed to the China Stabilization Board and was on official business in China and Hong Kong in December 1941. 

After the fall of Hong Kong, he was interned at Stanley Camp and later repatriated in 1942.

Wllliam Tillinghast STANTON [1899-1974]

William Tillinghast (spelt Tellinghast in the Jurors List) Stanton appears in the 1941 Jurors List as an exchange broker. 

He was interned with his wife at Stanley Camp and later repatriated to the United States in 1942.

Irene Margaret KELLY (aka Sister Dominic / Mary St. Dominic) [1901-1975]

Irene Margaret Kelly was better known as Sister Dominic (formerly Mary St. Dominic). She served the Maryknoll Sisters and was sent to Korea in 1934. She appears to have been transferred to China in 1936.

In December 1941, Sister Dominic was in Hong Kong for a surgical operation and hospital care. After the fall of Hong Kong, Sister Dominic and other Sisters of the convent in Holy Sprit School on Caine Road were interned. They arrived in Stanley Camp on 21 January 1942. In camp, Sister Dominic worked in the clinic.

Mary CAIN (aka Sister Mary de Ricci) [1904-1987]

Mary Cain was better known as Sister Mary de Ricci. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and was sent to Hong Kong in 1927. Prior to the Pacific war, Sister Mary de Ricci worked at Maryknoll Convent School in Kowloon and Holy Spirit School on Caine Road. She later became House Superior of Holy Spirit School.
