It is been said that the ancient wall on top left corner of the postcard belonged to the Mount Austin Barracks. Grateful if someone can help to confirm it. I just find it interesting as I have never noticed such wall in other postcards that shows the peak scenes.

probably taken from Peak Police Station
The retained wall at the top left corner was up on Plantation Road, as a part of the platform on which the club house of Cloudlands stands now.
The mansion in the middle of the photos sat on the site of present Chief Justice's Residence at No. 18 Gough Hill Road. Redhill East and West were behind it up and slightly right on the ridge. Bicton and Kirkendoa were on further right.
Probably taken from area around Peak Police Station.
