Taken from Dragon House Victoria Barracks. Views of HMS Tamar and the beginnings of the Prince of Wales building. Also shown are the Bank of America tower and the Connaught building. In the Mid Ground are the beginnings of the Mass Transit System with Harcourt road and Queensway running either side. I believe the Lippo centre and other buildings are there now. The near ground shows 2 blocks of Victoria Barracks. (A & B but not sure)

Hi There,
I believe back in the 1970's, the Bank of America Tower was still being called the Gammon Building or Tower. That was before Gammon was bought by Jardines and before the Carrian Group bought the building from Jardines and renamed it.
It only become The Bank of American Tower after the Carrian Group scandal after Carrian was liquidated.
