Wong Chuk Shan - Yellow Bamboo Mountain.
We passed the remains of this village yesterday. It is on an old boulder trackway that is still in good condition, and the many stone terraces in the area are also in good condition.
Hung Shek Mun abandoned village.
All that's left is two buildings, a trailer and the fish ponds. One of the buildings looks like a former residence, the other looks like a power plant of some sort with large steel door and two large exhaust pipes.

Guy asked if anyone knew why everyone had moved out from these villages. Was it just inconvenience that made people move, or were they relocated by the government? Relocation was suggested because there is a "Mau Ping New Village" over the hill towards Sai Kung:
