She's listed on page J1 of the 1939 Blue Book as Stenographer to the Governor, first appointed to the civil service on 1st August. 1933.
DoB comes from John Black's copy of the CWGC list of internees, which gives Mr Jones's occupation in 1941 as "Draughtsman".
Mr Jones is listed on page J114 of the 1939 Blue Book as one of the two Chief Draughtsmen in the Public Works Department, first appointed to the Hong Kong Government on the 3rd Jan, 1939.
From the mentions in Eric Macnider's Diary, it looks as though Mr Higgins was an American priest.

The first mention I see for him is in the 1933 Jurors List, where he is working as a Steward at the H.K. & Shanghai Hotels, Ld. By the 1941 List, he's still with the same company but promoted to Maitre d'Hotel.
John Black's copy of the CWGC list of internees at Stanley has a typo in the surname: "V I Olafinsky". It gives his occupation in 1941 as "Ast Hotel Manager", and DoB as 1905.
He is buried in plot 18---/03/04- of the Protestant cemetery at Happy Valley, together with another family member who also died in 1942. His gravestone reads:
