This photo and the one linked above was likely taken in about 1967, right before land reclamation began to turn Staunton Creek into a nullah in 1968. Most boat dwellers lived there were resettled to Shek Pai Wan Resettlement Estate at Aberdeen between 1966-1968. Among the settlers includes the one millionth resident of Hong Kong's public housing estates, a six years old girl Jenny Fung Kwai-chun (馮桂珍), who received her new home's key from the Governor, Sir David Trench.
