The Eight Houses 八間屋 is a group of seven Grade II and one Grade III historic buildings in Stanley, Hong Kong. Located at No. 2 Stanley Main Street, Hong Kong Island, it is named for its eight interconnected row houses. The group of houses is situated on the east bank of Stanley Bay, behind Wong Ma Kok Road, and is accessible by a small path at the southern end of Stanley Main Street.
These buildings were constructed by the Hong Kong government in the 1930s to house eight families from Wong Ma Kok Village 黃麻角村 who were relocated due to the construction of the Stanley Barracks and Wong Ma Kok Fort 赤柱軍營及黃麻角炮台.
Residents still live there today. The Eight Houses are single-story buildings with red brick and gray tile roofs, and green wooden doors and window frames.
