Based on identification of two ships in the harbour this photo was taken during the period 1966-69.
The cargo ship berthed at Holt’s Wharf is one of eight “Super P” class vessels built between 1966-67 - four for Blue Funnel Line and four for the Glen Line.
The new Wanchai reclamation can be seen between the gap of the buildings which would make way for the Cross Harbour tunnel entrance flyover (Bowrington Canal flyover). Construction has possibly already started (piling in progress?)
Buildings erected in 1966 appear in the photo. Stalls and shacks adjoining Bowrington Market have yet to be cleared. There are a few construction sites north and south of Hennessy Road that appear in 1968. The 1969 aerial photo shows the Wanchai reclamation was at an advanced stage.
To narrow down the date range, guessing the main photo was taken between 1967 and 1968.
