Tai Po Kau Pier
There was a railway station, Tai Po Kau, right next to where the pier was, and the ferry provided service to islands in Tolo Harbour and Mirs Bay, like Tung Pei Chau. There were also office for Marine Department and Marine Police (North Section) later re-organized as Marine North Division.
So the pier is Tai Po Kau Pier, which is about 2.5km south east of Tai Po Market Station.

The pier is close to the Tai Po Kau railway station. I found several entries giving the name Tai Po Railway Pier, but also the name Tai Po Kau Pier was likely used.

Hi there,
Back in those days, this type of ferry was also used in the Central - Ma Wan - Tung Chung - Sha Lo Wan - Tai O extremely slow route.
