The only colour picture I have been able to find of the front of the mansion at No 5 Broadwood Road. Colonial style with rounded corners to front facing NE to Causeway Bay with a large grass terrace before. The evidence that this was the front? In her book Looking at the Stars, Joyce Symons says there was a tennis court at the front of the house. She also says the mansion had a large verandah which ran the whole width of the house, which I think is what we see here. The property had a large flight of granite steps down to the drive.
Also here, the access Road to #6 and Confucius Hall.
