Born Northern Rhodesia, but in the UK since 1960. Classics at Durham and then taught it. My interest in Hong Kong is due to missionary Mildred Dibden and her work taking in abandoned babies in Fanling and Shatin from 1931 to 1966; also researching into some of the others who get a mention in her story by Jill Doggett.
