Year of birth from John Black's list, which gives Miss Cartwright's occupation in 1941 as "stenographer". The Directory & Chronicle for 1940 here shows her working for Arhold & Co. Ltd.

Qualified as an ANS Nurse.  Worked at La Salle Relief Hospital.

Passenger list from Rangoon to UK  for vessel arriving 28/10/1945 shows Florence Dora Cartwright, stenographer aged 37 & Barbara Beatrice Cartwright, also a steno, aged 24, both giving address 3 Hereford Road, Acton, London (their mother's home).
Sisters, Flo b 19/3/1908, India & Barbara b 17/7/1911, daughters of George Dawson Cartwright & Lilla Violet nee Raines. It appears Flo & Barbara  died at Fulham London in 1999 & in 2000 respectively.
