Address in UK c/o The Belgian Embassy London

This is from Clutch of Circumstance by Lewis Bush:

A few newcomers had arrived in the camp. Some from the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation and other British banks, who had been kept outside whilst clearing up their books for the Japanese liquidators. Then there were a number of Dutch, Belgian and other nationalities. Among these were Baron de Chaffoy de Courcelles and Katherine, his German-born wife. These were highly cultured and good people with whom I formed a firm friendship. De Chaffoy was the president of a tobacco company and brought quite a large stock of cigarettes into the camp, which he generously shared with his friends.

Bush dates these arrivals to 'late spring 1942' but as far as I know the HSBC people did not arrive in Stanley Camp until summer 1943, which was after Bush had been transferred to Shamshuipo (https://gwulo.com/node/14388).

My guess is that some people including the de Chaffoys did enter Stanley in 1942 and that Bush confused those arrivals with the bankers who he'd learnt about after the war.
