This is such a stunning photo. Among the first group of HKU students who moved into Our Lady's Hall in 1939 was the legendary writer Eileen Chang (1920-1995). She wrote about the hall life and the path to campus as well as the surroundings in both her fiction and essays. I seached around but this is the only visualization I have seen that places the hall, the path to campus, as well as parts of the campus (University Dr) all in the same frame. I would love to learn more about the background of this photo!
