Violet HARRIS [1911-1946]

Violet is my grandmother sadly I didn't get to know her. The Harris family made it to Australia on the Vindex which arrived in Sydney then were taken to Lithgow to a army camp. She was pregnant with her 9th child which she had in February. Violet & the baby they named Eric both died. The family then buried her in Sydney & came to melbourne to camp Pell. It was then decided that George couldn't look after 8 kids so they were put into a orphanage & George return to Hong Kong

I can't seem to find Richard on the list , he was born in 15 January 1939 and is still living in port Lincoln Adelaide

Violet Edith Harris (need tsang) died on the 20th February 1946 at royal hospital for women in Paddington she was registered at 36 years old. Her father was William Joe tsang & mother deceased

i am so intrigued of the photos you posted. At last I have seen Violet. Is it possible to have a copy of your original photos especially the documents . It’s very blurred so I cannot read the contents. I wish we meet up one day. Regards , Judy
