This looks like the square platform for the HK Colliseum in Hung Hom. My father was involved in the fact finding process for the team of architects- which involved a trip to some of the major sporting venues in the USA. I believe they built the roof first, and then built the rest under it and hoisted the roof as they went along!!!
There are only 2 piers. The northern and the middle piers. The southern pier has been demolished already in 1975 when this picture was taken. The reason why Star Ferry had to use the middle pier for their Central service at the end of 1975. These two pictures in 1973 and 1975 clearly show the southern pier has disappeared before 1973-10-23.

Hung Hom Ferry Piers
Hung Hom Ferry Piers are visible. A Star Ferry is approaching, another ferry (HYF?) is leaving.
2 or 3 piers?
