I've set the 'demolition' date to 1971, when the restaurant was gutted by a fire, though the burned-out wreck appears in photos from 1973 so it was a while before it was removed.
A second generation Jumbo Floating Restaurant was built as a replacement, and opened in 1976.
The completion date comes from a 1958 China Mail article which mentioned "the Yu Lai Tai which is about 6 years old".

I've made a rough guess at where it was (that area used to be sea before reclamation). Corrections welcome.
This replaced the first generation, which was destroyed by a fire.
This second generation was closed to business on 3 Mar 2020.
In June 2022 it was towed away from Hong Kong, but sank in the open sea on 19 June 2022.
The marker shows the current location of the restaurant, but as T notes in the comments below, the original Tai Pak floating restaurant was moored west of the bridges, near to the present day Ap Lei Chau Promenade \ Wind Power Park.
