Number from 1909 Map

On the 1933 Map there are six separate houses on IL 1416, all divided into semi detached houses. The lower four, on Macdonnell Road, from west to east, are named:

Rodgemont (sp?)

 No name

Budleish

Lynton

The western part of the duplex of this unnamed house survived until the construction of Woodland Garden in 1982. The eastern half was replaced by a block of low rise flats in the early 1950s

I am unsure if Lynton was demolished pre war or destroyed during the fighting. In Nov 1945 the location is an empty lot

On IL 1937

The following buildings, &c., mentioned in last year’s Report were not completed by the 31st December, 1915 :—

 Schoolhouse, I.L. 1937, Macdonnell Road.

Demolished in 1970 to build a modern extention to St Paul's college.

Part of Happy Mansion was demolished to construct 42A
