Leona ROSS [1890-1969]

Leona Roschinsky later renamed Leona Ross was a missionary who served the South China Boat Mission in Canton (Guangzhou). By 1916, she had already arrived in China.

She was present in Hong Kong during the Japanese invasion and later interned at Stanley Camp. Leona Ross was  repatriated to the United States in 1942.

Nadeshda S. C. RICHMOND [c.1910-????]

Nadeshda Richmond was of Russian descent and wife of John Fletcher Richmond. Her maiden name may have been 'Kupriyanovna'. She was interned with her husband at Stanley Camp and later repatriated to the United States in 1942.

Audrey E. REBER (née FOX) [1915-1987]

Wife of Calvin Henry Reber, a Methodist missionary and professor in theology. Her husband, baby daughter and herself were interned at Stanley Camp after the fall of Hong Kong. They were repatriated to the United States in 1942.

Oswald Jackson QUICK (aka Oz) [1915-1997]

Rev. Oswald Jackson Quick or Rev. "Oz" was a Baptist missionary. He was interned at Stanley Camp and later repatriated in 1942.

In Prisoner of the Japs by Gwen Dew, he worked long hours in the camp kitchen and ensured there was sufficient boiled water for the internees. 

Rev. "Oz" continued his missionary work in Taiwan after the war.
