Ruby Eileen HALL (née BLISS) [1908-2001]
Notes from Peter Hall on the Stanley Camp Discussion List:
Ruby Eileen Bliss, known as Auntie Eileen, was the elder sister of Arthur Sidney Bliss, Uncle 'Sonny', who was killed at Stanley on Christmas day.
Eileen married Frederick Ivan George Hall in Stanley on 6 March 1943. He was executed by the Japanese on 29 October 1943.
Eileen later married Robert Harrington Nichol and they divorced in 1952. Eileen (not Emily) died in England in 2001.
Robert Sydney ROSEN (aka Roy) [1908-1975]
He is shown as an 'Officer' on the list of Prison Officers in 1940, joining the prison service on 10 November, 1933.
Tony Banham notes Rosen served as a private in the Stanley Platoon.
Ursula Teresa MACKLIN (née CARROLL, aka G / Girlie) [1915-????]
From early November 1942 onwards, R E Jones mentions her almost every day in his diary. Sometimes he simply notes "GX" or "GXX", other times he adds a few words "With Gxx after 8PM. Quarry."
On 25th December 1942, he wrote:
"Had G to supper. Nativity Play at St Stephens. Quarry GX. Lovely Xmas considering conditions."
But just the next day things take a turn for the worse:
"Not such a good day. G got card from hubby. Spoke of breaking up."
(Throughout this time there are doubts about whether G's husband is alive or not.)

He was the Postmaster General in 1941.
He is mentioned in a history of Hong Kong's coat of arms:
