Barbara Anslow:
In Stanley Internment Camp, R. Heasman used to do violin practice in a sort of shed (used I think as the camp mortuary) near the gaol.
DoB from John Black's list, which gives Mr Heasman's occupation in 1941 as "Secretary".
Rosemary Virginia MITCHELL [1942- ]
Daughter of Mrs Mitchell.
Barbara Anslow:
Rosemary is the first true Stanley baby, her parents were married at the very start of the camp. Rosemary came to see me in 2010 - we had a wonderful chat.
There's a photo of Rosemary as a baby in Stanley Camp on Facebook. (Thanks to Brian for the link)
