Charles Reginald WARREN (aka Reggie) [1909-1991]

Youngest child of Charles and Hannah Warren. Sibling of Leslie, Evelyn and Arthur Warren. Was sent to school in Vancouver Island with his brother, Arthur and then to Churchers in Hampshire, England. Returned to Hong Kong after his father's premature death and subsequently had a spell learning about rubber planting in Malaya, probably on the estate of Charles Rowe. He returned to Hong Kong, but decided to join a school friend in Ceylon, where he spent the rest of his career as a tea planter. When Leslie Warren arrived in Colombo on a fishing boat after the Fall of Singapore, Reggie was able to look after him for the brief time that Leslie was in Ceylon before being posted on to India.
