Catherine Park and her husband, Harland A. Park were American missionaries serving the Assemblies of God. They came to Hong Kong in 1930 and went into China in 1931. In 1936, she became Principal of the First Assembly of God Church Primary School in Hong Kong.

The Parks had two daughters, Dorothy and Elizabeth who were born in Hong Kong. They resided in Kowloon during the Japanese attack in December 1941 and were later interned in one room in the Kowloon Hotel together with the Hall family, who were also missionaries, prior to their removal to Stanley Internment Camp. The Park family was repatriated to the United States in 1942.

After the war, Catherine and H. A. Park returned to Hong Kong to continue their missionary work. She died in 1961 (see here ) whilst he passed away in 1971. Both are buried in the Hong Kong Cemetery.

The Assemblies of God Heritage Magazine (Winter 1991) has an article on "Missionaries Caught in the Crossfire" in Hong Kong during the Japanese invasion. The Park family and their fellow missionaries are mentioned, including photos of themselves on board the exchange ship "Gripsholm". See here
