She was a VAD nurse at the Military Hospital Bowen Road during our battle, and came in to Stanley with the other VADS in August 1942. She is about 3 years older than I am, but I have never been in touch with her postwar.
Ray was my mother. Born 23 February 1916 Mukden, China. Died 16 July 1993 Dorchester, Dorset UK. My father Archie born 04 July 1908 Allahabad India died London 24 September 1959.
