Mr. Wu Ting-fang’s wife, Madame Ho Miu Ling
Madame Ho Miu Ling (1847-1937) was the daughter of a prominent Hong Kong minister Dr Ho Kai. At the age of 17 she married Chinese diplomat Mr. Wu Ting-fang. After her husband’s death in 1922 she returned to Hong Kong and became a philanthropist.
She built the Ho Miu Ling Hospital (何妙齡醫院), located at Breezy Path, was opened in 1906. This hospital was managed by the London Missionary Society.
