I found this photo on my computer. Unfortunately, I have no idea where it came from, it only bears its name: "c1925 Barker Road". The date could be correct because the building 455 The Peak can be seen in the photo, it was constructed in 1923.
Fortunately, it gives a very clear view of Barker Road buildings, including the houses on the western part of the road. We start from the left:
