This is a small section from the 1845 map on Gwulo. It shows three buildings of Wellington Barracks, probably built c. 1845. It looks to me that reclamation of the area north of the buildings was either planned or was under way. See also Wellington Battery seawall fragments [c.1850-c.2013]
Addendum: Possibly the buildings were planned only when they appeared on the 1845 map.
