The Ho Miu Ling hospital 何妙齡醫院 was built in 1906 on Breezy path and rebuilt in 1954 into a maternity hospital. This photo shows the hospital before and after 1954. As it was surrounded by residential buildings, a "pai lau" was built at the Breezy path junction to celebrate the birthday of a certain Mr Ma in the left photo. One can see the building on the left side of the junction looks like the old hospital, not the 6-storey new building built in 1937. (https://gwulo.com/node/59328) . The left photo is likely pre-1937.
