This photo of the Reed brothers was taken at the entrance to St. Margaret's Church sometime in 1916. The family attended services at this church when they lived on Wanchai Road and after the move to Broadwood Road. Francis and Vera de Carvalho were married at this church in October 1941. In their wedding photo the entrance door can be seen at the top of the steps in the background.

Correction of above photo location
I mistakenly thought the above photo was taken at the entrance to St. Margaret's Church as the door in this photo seemed similar to the church door in Francis and Vera Reed's wedding photo in 1941. St. Margaret's Church actually opened in 1925, and I should have checked this date first before posting. The door in this photo does look like a church door so it could have been at a different church that the family attended at that time.
