1962 Granville Road

Buried among all those small shop signs behind that first car, parked on the right, is a dark  brown & white wooden signboard for Sam's Tailor . 

The online history of Sam's states that the business was established in Burlington Arcade in 1957. However, since the current building was not completed until 1964, Sam's business must have been operating somewhere else during the construction period . Perhaps Granville Road  was in fact the first location where the business was established, or alternatively, a temporary location. The 1956 Kowloon street map suggests the former building on the site of today's  Burlington Arcade. was named Cameron Building ( 金馬倫大廈)  

The Sam's Tailor website  history, stating the business has been in the same location since its founding might need a revision.  Or perhaps there were two "Sam's".
