This photo of my mother (at the back in the white dress), her sister and friends was taken somewhere in Kowloon in 1948. All it says under the photo is "Harbour View". Could this be the Harbour View Hotel on the corner of Chatham Road and Mody Road?

I think the girls are on Mody Road, not far from the Harbour View Hotel. The angular road on the extreme right is Hanoi Road. The road junction before the trees on the left is Blenheim Avenue.
The large angular building at the junction of Hanoi and Mody Roads can be seen in the photo below behind the building on the right which later became the Arlington and Harbour View Hotels.
