Catherine F. Cunningham was a teacher at Diocesan Girls' School.

During the Battle of Hong Kong she was stationed at La Salle Relief Hospital. 

Catherine F. Cunningham's name/signature appears under "La Salle College" (La Salle Relief Hospital) on the right and inverted on the "Day Joyce Sheet" held by the Imperial War Museum.
