The photo shows the site of the former Naval Dockyard. The reduction of area for the Navy started in 1959 (see here). A new fence has already been built around the remaining naval areas. Construction of Harcourt Road has started, but is still in an early state. The Boat Pool/camber is still there, as well as the Nissen huts. The date could be in the first half of 1960.
