Knutsford Terrace [1891-????]

But here's someone giving Knutsford Terrace as their address in 1894, so I'll push the completion date back to then:

Knutsford Terrace became available for renting from 1 February 1891. 

Given the close proximity of Knutsford Terrace to the Observatory, it is not surprising that senior officers of the Observatory resided at the estate. Hong Kong Daily Press dated 9 December 1918 notes that the Fire Brigade was called to douse a small fire at No. 15 Knutsford Terrace, the residence of Mr. C. W. Jeffries, of the Observatory. In 1932, Mr. Jeffries became Director of the Observatory. 

The Kowloon Land and Building Co. Ltd owned two properties, namely Canton Villas and Knutsford Terrace. The  latter comprised a block of sixteen houses.
