Notes from his grand-daughter, Alison:

He worked at Taikoo as an engineer in charge of one of the sections or teams, and lived in Braemar Terrace.

He was in Stanley ((internment camp)) from January 1942 to the end of the war, and tho he went back to work at Taikoo afterwards he was weakened by his incarceration and died of heart failure in 1950, aged 55. I wish I could contribute something, anything, of his Stanley experience, but we have absolutely no relics or keepsakes, not even a photo of him. We lost all our family memorabilia when we emigrated to Australia.
