Thanks Barry, photos taken in Stanley Camp are rare to see.
The note suggests there might be another photo from that same Japanese officer? We'd love to see it if it can be shared. Also, are there any memories of who the officer was, and how he happened to take these photos and then give them to the family?
Hi David, Thanks for the reply, the photograph is actually of me, after liberation we ended up in Perth, Western Australia. My mother re-married hence change of surname.
FYI have just posted some more stuff, in 1940 s hong kong gallery..
